01Shopify or WooCommerce?
Shopify costs more monthly but handles hosting, security and payments, and rarely breaks. WooCommerce has no platform fee but you are responsible for hosting and updates. For most small stores Shopify is simpler to own.
02How many products should I launch with?
Fewer than you think. Twenty well-photographed products with proper descriptions sell better than two hundred thin listings. Add more once the structure is proven.
03Do I own a Shopify store?
The store and its data are yours, on your Shopify account with your billing. Make sure the account is in your name from the start, not the designer's.
